The business, which is currently within its 23rd year of operation, is based in the East Midlands and has strong business connections throughout Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Greater London.

- The business has a first class reputation within the industry and a proportion of its business comes from referrals from accountants and solicitors, together with its own client base of high net worth individuals, the self employed and owner managed businesses. The business concentrates on providing specialist investment, pension planning and inheritance tax advice.
- The partners have considerable experience in the financial services industry and are supported by a team of three experienced staff including one additional registered individual.
- Having built up a successful business, the partners consider that to take it to the next level would be better achieved within a larger operation and are therefore looking for offers to purchase the business.
- One of the three partners (a non-fee earner) would wish to retire on completion on health grounds, the more senior of the two remaining partners would work for the purchaser on an agreed basis whilst the other partner would work full time for at least four years.
- The lease on the business premises expires in April 2009.
